Terrible really. It’s just embarrassing. I feel more than a little sorry for the owners.

I bought 4 packs of their aged wrinkly tasteless tomatoes. On the vine, of course. Good job I served them the day after I bought them, they’d have been inedible a day later.

I also bought 4 packs of their sausages as I was hosting a coronation brunch. Their sausages are a disgrace. Flavourless, injected with a ton of water. I had to switch them into a fresh roasting pan given they’d leaked so much artificially injected water they were in danger of being boiled rather than roasted.

The chicken bone broth is also a disgrace. I’m not sure what the proportion of bone to broth was (as they intentionally don’t state it), but it must have been very low. I’m going to avoid this brand going forward

I bought a jar of organic rocket pesto for a friend, the jar did not have a price on it but the shelf clearly indicated it was £5.99 and this is corroborated by the website. I paid contactless and being distracted by having to move to let thru a couple with a large pushchair and did not pay attention to the amount I was being charged. My receipt, when I got to my car was for £7.99. There was no itemisation. My friend, who purchased several items, had the same experience, a higher charge than expected and only a single total shown, no itemisation and as the prices are not on the goods it’s hard to establish what the correct total should have been.

We visited Daylesford Organic Farm Shop in October and had a better experience because the weather was nicer - which’s Daylesford can’t control. The rain on our visit meant we couldn’t grab some snacks to eat outside. However, I have to admit, regardless of the rain, it wasn’t as enjoyable this time. We got there about 4pm and the bread had all been sold. I’d expect a true bakery or artisan shop to replenish by 4pm considering they are open till 8pm. The food in the shop appears overpriced and we had gone with the intention of putting together snacks and light bites from Daylesford to enjoy at home but there wasn’t enough there. We’d also been tempted to have a BBQ later that week and had hoped to find some nice prepared meats and burgers to be able to pair with the salads at the deli but again, none there. We are used to a high quality farm shop selection in Cheshire and it’s disappointing we couldn’t find this at Daylesford. The restaurants look lovely, maybe it’s more of a destination place for eating at and shouldn’t sell itself as a ‘farm shop’ now.

I had such high expectations and was so looking forward to visiting Daylesford farm as part of a trip to the Cotswolds but I have to admit that sadly, it did not live up to my expectation. There was not much there in my opinion and the prices for the quality of the products was extortionate. The biggest shock was the price for some "dividing sticks" which were nothing more than a six foot straight stick with the bark removed on sale for £575. I am hoping this was an error but........

Has Daylesford had its day!!!
I have been going to Daylesford for about 10 years now and I have watched it ballooned in size. My husband has attended a few cookery classes and I usually go to the spa with my friend. However about 6 months ago, my friend and I agreed it was not value for money anymore, due to the inexperience of the therapists. But the issue I have with Daylesford and Bamford is the general cleanliness of the place. Simply put, it is dirty. The toilets in the Spa, the restaurants and the cookery school are quite frankly filthy!! The cookery school toilets had cobwebs everywhere, the floor was littered with dust etc. The sink area had rust stains from the hand wash/lotion bottles. I think they have lost their way and it is just one big commercial operation.

Same. Ordered a good selection of Christmas food/hamper, on 27th November.Due to be delivered today/23rd….Yesterday we received a large box with a packet of £3.99 olive crackers.
Everything else due Wednesday 28th…Refunded in full, but leaves me high an dry, no Xmas pudding to take round to hosting daily, no biscuit tin/sweets I’ve got as gifts, and no goodies for us. A very, very poor show.
Great food, but no good if not turning up. It’s ruined Christmas for us….

Order a £1000 hamper on November for De 20 delivery and nothing sent!!
Was for a family who had a rough 2022 and looking forward to it too. Daylesford blamed the postal strikes although THE HAMPER WAS NEVER DISPATCHED.
Applauding customer service and denile of blame. Nothing offered in recompense either.

Shocking service.
Ordered a Christmas hamper early in November and still waiting for it to be delivered. The “helpline” while polite are utterly clueless. Got told that don’t I know is Christmas and they are very busy. Why did they think I ordered a Christmas hamper! In future stop taking orders if you are not able to process them.
This will be the last time I deal with them.

Usually love this special place but today it looked tired! From the cream linen furniture in the small lounge … so stained and distasteful to the toilets which were DIRTY … the dust and grime around the skirting boards was horrible as was the water splashed woodwork! Very disappointing.. food and staff lovely but expensive as usual !

Went to Daylesford, went for a coffee In restaurant the restaurant was cold , people sitting with jackets and scarves on . The room was cold !! And no sign of heating .
The coffee was luke warm !! And not the best either.
Very disappointing place to visit!!

My pooch just received your father Christmas dog snood and it is absolutely wonderful - and just in time for making it onto our Christmas cards... Woof & love..

I recently purchased some of the new insect based dog treats from Daylesford that went down an absolute dream with my dog! It's so great to see additional sustainable offerings. My frenchie's allergies are really bad and I've been using insect-based dog food and treats for a while so this was great to see :) Will be back for more

Poor quality products.
The advertising is misleading, meat substandard and overpriced. I find it hard to believe any thing this company claim
